A landmark estate in Lake Oswego's Country Club Neighborhood, the design of the Chandler Residence provides the owners an opportunity to play, relax, and entertain outdoors all year round. A brand-newcustom pool and spa were located to provide views to the pool from almost anywhere on-site for safety of the children, while still providing ample room around the pool for lounging and entertaining. The pool house, sitting almost 5 feet above the pool level, becomes a raised terrace with a custom built-in concrete barbecue counter and extended gable roof for year-round entertainment and relaxation.

"Stadium seat" steps lead down from the pool house terrace to a wide open synthetic turf play area, alongside a slope with seeded boulders reclaimed from the pool excavation work. A resurfaced sport-court, lush native plantings, and a new driveway utilizing permeable pavers add to the new vibe of the old estate, making it truly one of the most elegant and unique properties in the Portland area.

With the pool, concrete retaining walls and boulders all in place, construction and landscape installation should wrap up in Fall 2019.
