The Analemma Winery is a family owned biodynamic vineyard based in Moiser, Oregon. Mosier, a close neighbor to Hood River, is also famous for apple, pear and orchard crops but is now very popular and suited to transitioning into vineyard crops.  Mosier sits on the shores of the Columbia River and climbs up into smaller hidden valleys and watersheds in the shadow of Mount Hood. Rich, alluvial, well drained soils make possible a wide variety of crop types. Biodynamic agriculture incorporates a spiritual-ethical and ecological approach to food production and nutrition. The goal is to achieve a rich diversity of crop types appropriate for the location and terrain while also supporting a balanced ecosystem within the property that generates health and fertility as much as possible.
