The Goat Block has become iconic in SE Portland and the implementation of a new superblock has been a delicate endeavor. KLA has played an important role in mitigating surface level stormwater runoff, designing for the public realm, which includes a half block market terrace and Yamhill Alley. The detailed design also accommodates a large residential  amenity deck, and integrating five separate eco-roofs into the property.

LOCA was completed in mid-2017 and is already a bustling hub of activity in SE Portland.
